How to Grow Capers from Seed!

The quick and convenient step by step guide to growing your caper seeds!

Mature caper bushes require dry heat and intense sunlight to flourish, and cannot survive temperatures below 20 degrees F. If you live in an area with harsh winters, plan on bringing your caper plants inside during the winter or just grow them in pots in a greenhouse. Caper seeds are dormant and can be notoriously difficult to germinate. You can also just try planting the seeds, but the following these steps will give the best success (30-45% germination).
