The quick and convenient step by step guide to growing your Tarragon Seeds!
Tarragon is a perennial herb in zones 4 and warmer. It develops into a bushy, somewhat leggy plant approximately 18-36" tall. Tarragon likes moderate sun, preferring a little shade during the warmest part of the day. It grows well in a rich loamy soil that holds moisture, but drains well. Mulching is beneficial to this end.
How to Grow Tarragon Seeds
#1 | Sow your seeds outdoors in the early season after any chance of frost. You can also sow your seeds indoors in pots, in a sunny windowsill.
# 2 | Sprinkle your seeds into the soil and with a flat hand press the seeds firmly into the soil. The seeds need light to germinate so its best they are not too deep.
#3 | Keep the soil moist until germination which should occur in 10-15 days.
